The Central Florida VegFest!!! What's up with the goofy face??!! LOL!!! Though it wasn't as exciting as last year, I still had a good time, considering I went by myself. I didn't eat as much this go round...YES! There was less of a crowd but the organization of the booths seemed off, which frustrated me a bit. Interestingly, a Raw Food Restaurant, Cafe 118, will be opening within the next couple weeks. I don't see myself going raw anytime soon. I'm still working on minimizing my sugar intake, which based on my food pics isn't going so well....hehe! I will without a doubt be visiting Cafe 118 to sample their dishes.

* I make my own Weight Watcher's bracelets, I'm so over writing down everything I eat. I'm also tired of counting points so I'm giving the Core plan a go.
* I'm continuously in search of a good facial cleanser due to having dry, sensitive and slight eczema-laden skin. I'm really liking Lush's Angels on Bare Skin & Suki's Exfoliate Foaming Cleansers. Both are literally a breath of fresh air after being used. They are also pricey, therefore I won't be purchasing anything from either of them until getting a job. I love that they label their vegan products!

* I finally got my first food processor. There are so many pesto's, hummus recipes, and sauces I want to make but have yet to open the box. Got it on sale at Target!! WOOHOO!!
* It hurts me to say this but......thus far Grey's Anatomy Season 5 is sooooooo boring...sigh... Anyone else feel me on this one? I don't know if I'm up for watching it anymore. Izzie's into Alex, AGAIN! I'm just waiting for either Meredith or McDreamy to end it cause the show doesn't seem right without one of them chasing the other. Dr. Hahn & Dr. Torres together...huh?, and the fact that she's confiding in McSteamy, her former lover, makes it even worse. I think they're just pulling crap out of the arses right now. The only one who hasn't slept around is Dr. Yang and I'm rooting for her with this new Dr. (lets call him McArmy).. As much as I've loved the show I think it's time to say goodbye.

1) Kick-Ass Molasses Cookies - They taste more like spice cookies but they're good nonetheless. I can't make these often cause they're not a hit with Lando
2) Another Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe - These were ok, the added cinnamon was a turn-off.
3) Joy of Vegan Baking Oatmeal Cookies - Didn't have many raisins so they're not visible, wasn't impressed with these. I'm still looking for a soft and chewy oatmeal cookie recipe. I'm usually impressed with the recipes in this book but this was not one of them.
4) Blueberry Muffin - I actually made these muffins for Lando when I had taken a vow to not eat sweets for a couple weeks. I didn't even eat one! This has got to be my best muffin pic yet!
5) La Dolce Vegan's Apple Cinnamon Muffin - Bland...bland...bland..
6) Nonna's Italian Kitchen Anise Biscotti - These were just too sweet...I had to throw them away cause neither myself nor Lando could eat them.

I missed VegFest too (says the former vegetarian)! LOL--lemme stop, I didn't even know about it. Gosh, I love Weight Watchers. It was super successful for me back in the day so I hope you find a ton of success. I know you will. And we won't even get on those cigar boxes. That is soooo cuuuute!!

Yay on Veg Fest! It is so hard to be a low sugar/ low carb veggie. Isn't weight watchers great. It's novel and so simple, a support group based on eating less and working out more.
I stopped watching Grey's when Isaiah left show. The previews are crazy. Its all about Dancing with the Stars, Samantha Who and Ugly Betty (sometimes).... And your dishes are to die for... Do you sale your blankets? The granny sqaure ones are the most soft and warm blankets on the planet !!!

Lady Roots> Weight Watchers has or used to have a bracelet they sold to their members to allow them to count points without writing anything down. Since I've been doing Weight Watchers for so long I decided to make my own bracelets to count my points. The one they have/had is/was with faux pearls, just wasn't my style. Good luck w/ the job search. When I first moved to Atlanta it took me 7 months to find the job that was right for me. It was an emotionally trying experience that I thank God for seeing me through.

Thanks for the info on the bracelets. I knew about WW. Was a member when I lived in America, but that was years ago, loooooonng before the POINTS program. Just didn't see how the bracelets related to weight loss. Knowing it has to do with the points, now it makes sense.

I must be really late on this comment, but I must agree with the Grey's comments. Last season, my mom and I would call each other during each commercial to discuss before it came back on. This season we called each other once like "what is this mess". I'm still watching hoping it will get better.
